WHEREAS, St. Peter's Church, in the City of Baltimore, was-
duly incorporated by an Act of the General Assembly of
Maryland, known as Chapter 105, in the year 1802; and
WHEREAS, The Vestry of Grace Church was incorporated under
the Laws of the State of Maryland by certificate of incor-
poration, bearing date May 30th, 1850, and duly recorded
among the Chattel Records of Baltimore County (now City)
in Liber A. W. B. No. 83, folio 285, etc.; and
WHEREAS, The said two corporate bodies by the unanimous
action of their two vestries have agreed to consolidate into one
church, to be called Grace and St. Peter's Church, under the
corporate name of the Vestry of Grace and St. Peter's
Church; and
WHEREAS, After due notice the members of said respective
churches have, at separate meetings called for that purposer
each unanimously voted to ratify said consolidation of said
two churches; now, therefore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the said two corporations known as St Peter's
Church and the Vestry of Grace Church be and they are hereby
consolidated into one corporation under the corporate name of
the Vestry of Grace and St. Peter's Church.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the corporation of
said consolidated church shall consist of the ministers who shall
be elected from time to time rector of said church, and of not
less than eight nor more than sixteen laymen, who shall be mem-
bers of said church, to be called the vestry, and who shall be
elected by ballot in the following manner: An election for ves-
trymen shall be held annually on Easter Monday in the vestry
room of said church. Every member of said church of or over
the age of twenty-one years, who shall be a member of the Prot-
estant Episcopal Church and who shall have contributed not
lees than five dollars towards the support of the church during
the preceding year, shall be entitled to vote at said election for
vestrymen. The vestry shall from time to time determine the
number of vestrymen for the ensuing year, not to exceed sixteen
or less than eight members. At the election to be held on Easter
Monday, 1912, the entire number of vestrymen as fixed as
aforesaid shall be elected. After their election the said vestry-
men shall designate by lot or vote one-half of their number to
serve until the following Easter Monday, and one-half to serve
