the Treasury of the State of Maryland, amounting to the sum
of four thousand, nine hundred and seventy-three dollars and
nineteen cents ($4,973.19); therefore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Treasurer of the State be and he is hereby
directed, upon the warrant of the Comptroller therefor, which
warrant he is hereby authorized to draw, to pay out of any
moneys in the treasury not appropriated to the Board of the
County School Commissioners of Talbot county, the sum of four
thousand nine hundred and seventy-three dollars and nineteen
cents ($4,973.19) ; the same being fees from tongers' licenses
erroneously paid by the clerks of the Circuit Court for Talbot
County to the Comptrollers of the State of Maryland in the
years 1894-1895 to 1909-1910, being the amount paid into the
treasury, the same having received the approval of the officers of
the treasury.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 592.
AN ACT to ratify and confirm an agreement between the Burgess
and Commissioners of Clearspring with George T. Prather
and William G. Niemyer for lighting the town of Clearspring
and other purposes.

CHAPTER 593.
AN ACT to extend and continue in force the terms of the Act of
1896, Chapter 264, entitled "An Act to provide for the
appointment of commissioners for the promotion of uniform-
ity of legislation in the United States," as extended and con-
tinued in force by the Act of 1900, Chapter 194, and by the
Act of 1908, Chapter 407, and to authorize the appointment
and continuance of commissioners thereunder, and to appro-
priate the sum of seven hundred and fifty dollars annually
for the expense of said commissioners.
