SEC. 11. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 566.
AN ACT to repeal section 3A of Chapter 388 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of the January Session of
1910, authorizing the County Commissioners of Caroline
County to borrow on the credit of said county for the perma-
nent improvement of the public roads and bridges of said
county, and to purchase equipments therefor, and to issue
bonds for the payment thereof, and to levy taxes on the
assessable property of said county to redeem said bonds and
to pay the interest thereon.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 3A of Chapter 388 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland of the January Session of 1910, be
and the same is hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 567.
AN ACT to equalize and make uniform the remuneration or
salaries of the retired members of the Police Department of
Baltimore City according to their several grades or ranks
by repealing and re-enacting with amendments section 777,
Chapter 123 of the Acts of 1898, title "City of Baltimore,"
sub-title "Police," as the same was repealed and re-enacted
by Chapter 391 of the Acts of 1910, which said Chapter 391
erroneously stated the section amended to be section 756 in
lieu of section 777, the correct number of the section intended
to be amended, both of which, Chapter 123 of the Acts of
1898 and Chapter 391 of the Acts of 1910, amended Article
4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
"Charter—City of Baltimore," sub-title "Police."
