the railroad, powers, rights, immunities, privileges or fran-
'vhises of the said Washington. Baltimore and Annapolis Elec-
tric Eailroad Company shall not be leased or sold to any person
or corporation, nor shall the said Washington, Baltimore and
Annapolis Electric Railroad Company be consolidated with any
corporation, without the sanction or approval of the Public.
Service Commission of Maryland, which said commission is
empowered to grant said sanction or approval, and to authorize*
such consolidation upon such terms and conditions as to the said
commission may seem right or proper, or to withhold such
sanction, approval or authority; provided that nothing in this
act contained is intended or shall be taken or construed as
relieving said corporation from the provisions of Chapter 180
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1910,
known as the Public Service Law, or any amendment thereto,
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That the said Washing-
ton, Baltimore and Annapolis Electric Railroad Company shall
have and enjoy all the general powers and provisions, and shall
be subject to all the regulations and requirements contained in
Article 23 of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland,
title "Corporations," so far as the same may not be inconsistent >
or in conflict with the provisions of this act, or the provisions of
Chapter 193 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland
of 1906, being an act entitled "An Act to ratify the increase of
the capital stock of the Baltimore county, and to confer addi-
tional powers, franchises and privileges upon said corporation.'*
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted. That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to pay Henry Keech, Joseph M. Furstenburg, George
Witt and Patrick Broderick bounty promised them by certain
Acts of the General Assembly as Volunteers in the Civil War
from Allegany County.
