County Commissioners and County Road Engineer of said
county to proceed to construct said fence in question under and
by the provisions of this act, and full cost of same to be paid
by said landowner.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 421.

AN ACT to repeal section 1 of Chapter 462 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of the Acts of 1910, entitled
"An Act providing for the taxation of dogs in Calvert county,
and creating a fund out of which owners of domestic fowls
and animals killed or injured by dogs may be reimbursed
for the loss of the same, and furnishing revenue for the use
of the public schools of said county," and to re-enact same
to read as follows:

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That all owners of dogs upwards of six months old in
Calvert county shall pay to the county an annual tax of fifty
cents for each male dog and one dollar for each female dog;
and any dog kept or straying about the premises of any person
with his knowledge, whether such person be the owner or only
the occupant of said premises, shall be deemed, for the purpose
of this section, the property of said person; and the tax imposed
by this section shall be due and payable on the first day of
January of each year, and shall be payable within the first
thirty days of each year.

Approved April 8, 1912.

CHAPTER 422.

AN ACT authorizing the Police Commissioners of Baltimore
City to pay to Andrew Fischbach, a former policeman of the
Baltimore City Police Department, a weekly pension of
fifteen dollars.

WHEREAS, Andrew Fishbach, a former policeman of the Balti-
more City Police Department, was seriously and permanently
injured while in the discharge of his official duties, and as a
