county," and the Public Local Laws applicable to said county
passed subsequent thereto, except as repealed or modified by
any act of the General Assembly of 1912.
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That the County Commissioners of
Prince George's county are hereby authorized to employ Marion
Duckett, T. Van Claggett and such other members of the bar
of said county as they may see fit, to add to said Code so that
the same may be included in the said codification when published
as an appendix thereto, the Acts of 1912 applicable to Prince
George's county, and to index the said acts in the index of
said Code, and for such work in connection therewith and for
supervising the publication of said Code the said Marion
Duckett, T. Van Clagett and any other attorney or attorneys
so employed shall be paid reasonable compensation not to exceed
five hundred dollars in all, to be levied by the County Commis-
sioners and paid when printed copies of said Code, as herein-
after provided for, are delivered to the said Commissioners.
SEC. 3. Be it enacted, That when the Acts of 1912, as here-
inbefore provided for, have been incorporated in said Code, the
County Commissioners shall cause to be published five hundred
copies thereof, preserving therein the indices, reference to stat-
utes, chapter and section headings, reference to the Court of
Appeals and all other recitals of reference therein contained.
The size of type and size of page and quality of paper to be
the same as the published book of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1910. The manner of such publication shall be as
follows: The County Commissioners upon the receipt of the
said addition to the said Code as now codified shall advertise
in at least one newspaper published in Washington and one in
Baltimore for three successive weeks for bids for publication of
said book, and shall award the same to the lowest responsible
bidder. The County Commissioners shall levy the amount of
said bid and pay the same to the person printing or publishing
said books, after such books have been approved by the said
Marion Duckett, T. Van Claggett and delivered to the Com-
missioners. At any time after the receipt of the said books,
upon demand, the Commissioners shall deliver free of cost one
to each justice of the peace of Prince George's county, and a
copy each to the judges of the Circuit Court, to the State's
Attorney, to the State Librarian, to the Clerk of the Circuit
Court, and to the Register of Wills, and shall sell the residue
of said books to any person applying for the same at a price
per book "not less than twenty per cent, above the cost of print-
ing and binding such book, this price to be in no case less than
