CHAPTER 21.
AN ACT making the Annotated Code of the Public Civil Laws
of Maryland, edited by George P. Bagby, evidence of the
Public General Laws of the State in force prior to the first
Wednesday in January, nineteen hundred and twelve (1912),
save those relating exclusively to Crimes and Punishments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Annotated Code of the Public Civil Laws of
Maryland, edited by George P. Bagby, be and it is hereby legal-
ized, and in all the Courts of the State, before all the Justices
of the Peace of the State and by all the public officials of the
State, shall be deemed as, and taken to be, evidence of the Pub-
lic General Laws contained in the Code of 1888 and in the sub-
sequent Acts of Assembly in force prior to the first Wednesday
in January, nineteen hundred and twelve (1912), save and
excepting such of said laws and acts as relate exclusively to
"Crimes and Punishments."
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 22.
AN ACT to legalize the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince
George's county, as codified by Marion Duckett and T. Van
Clagett under the provisions of the Acts of 1910, Chapter
31, to provide for the addition thereto of the local laws affect-
4ng said county passed in the year 1912, and the publication
of said Code and addition, and to provide for the payment
for such addition and publication.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's
county, Maryland, as codified by Marion Duckett and T. Van
Clagett under the provisions of the Acts of 1910, Chapter 31,
be and the same is hereby legalized and shall be deemed and
taken in all Courts of this State and by all justices of the peace
of this State, and by all public officers of this State, to be
evidence of the Public Local Laws of Prince George's county,
of the State of Maryland, as contained in Article17 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of 1888, entitled "Prince George's
