PHILLIPS LEE GOLDSBOROUGH, ESQ., GOVERNOR. 585

WHEREAS, Said charge, indictment and trial grew out of an
effort on the part of Captain Dixon to enforce the Oyster
Laws of this State relating to illegal dredging; therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the State be and he is hereby
directed te draw his warrant on the Treasurer of the State in
favor of Captain Edward N. Dixon, of Anne Arundel county,
for the sum of thirteen hundred dollars to be by him applied
in payment of counsel fees and money actually expended in his
defense.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That .this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

The item of $1,300 in this bill, known as Chapter 414 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of 1912, is hereby approved
to the extent of $1,000, and disapproved to the extent of $300.

CHAPTER 415.

AN ACT to repeal section 141, Article 16 of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Montgomery County," sub-title "Pooles-
ville," and to re-enact the same with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 141 of Article 16 of the Code of Public
Local Laws', title "Montgomery County," sub-title "Poolesville,"
be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to
read as follows:

SEC. 141. The corporate limits of the town shall be' as
follows: Beginning at the mouth of road leading from the
Poolesville and Rockville roads through the land of Captain
John T. Fletchall; running on the dividing line between T. R.
Hall and Thomas H. Poole; thence between Samuel Cator and
said Thos. H. Poole; continuing between Charles Poole and
said Thomas H. Poole; thence between Misses Tolbot and
said Thomas H. Poole; thence between the Protestant Episcopal
Rectory and said Thomas H. Poole; thence between Dr. B.
W. Walling and Richard Poole to the Beallsville road; thence
between F. S. Poole and Mrs. E. W. Poole; thence between
Miss Mattie Poole and J. Sprigg Poole; thence between
Charles T. Grimes and J. Sprigg Poole to the road leading to
White's Ferry; thence running from said road so as to include
the stable of Mrs. H. Metzger to the intersection of the lands
