CHAPTER 412.
AN ACT to repeal section 246 of the Public Local Laws of
Washington county, title "Jerusalem," as enacted by Chapter
452 of the Acts of 1870, and re-enact the same with amend-
ments, so as to read as follows:
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 246 of the Public Local Laws of Washington
county, title "Jerusalem," as enacted by Chapter 452 of the
Acts of 1870, be repealed and re-enacted so as to read as fol-
lows:
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That all male persons of the age of
twenty-one years and who shall have resided within the cor-
porate limits of said town, for a period of twelve (12) months
next preceding the election, shall elect, by ballot, on the first
Monday in May, in the year 1912, a burgess, an assistant and
five commissioners for said town, which said officers shall be
bona fide owners of real estate situated within the corporate
limits of said town and shall have the same qualifications in
all respects as the voters and shall serve for the period of one
(1) year, or until their successors are duly elected and quali-
fied.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That all acts or parts of acts
inconsistent herewith shall be and hereby are repealed, and
that this act shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 413.
AN ACT to repeal' section 139, Article 10, of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Dorchester County,"
sub-title "East New Market," and to re-enact the same with
amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 139, Article 10 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Dorchester County," sub-title
"East New Market," be and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted with amendments, so as to read as follows:
SEC. 139. The limit of the said town shall begin at the
northwest corner of the Academy lot; thence running with
the eastern side of the new public road leading from Rail-
road avenue, to the Cambridge-East New Market public road,
