SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 17.
AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to certain deeds made by various per-
sons in this State to and for the use and benefit of the Min-
ister and Trustees of the German Evangelical Salem Church
of the City of Baltimore.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of the General Assembly of
Maryland be and the same are hereby declared, given and
granted to certain deeds made to and for the use and benefit of
the Minister and Trustees of the German Evangelical Salem
Church of the City of Baltimore, namely:
(A) A deed from William T. King and Sarah A. King, his
wife, to the Minister and Trustees of the German Evangelical
Salem Church of the City of Baltimore, dated October 9th,
1885, and recorded among the Land Records of Baltimore City
in Liber J. B. No. 1068, folio 51, etc., conveying a lot of
ground and premises at the northwest corner of Randall street
and Battery avenue in said City of Baltimore;
(B) A deed from Christian Kirschmann and Elizabeth.
Kirschmann, his wife, to the Minister and Trustees of the Ger-
man Evangelical Salem Church of the City of Baltimore, dated
December 8th, 1893, and recorded among the Land Records of
Baltimore City in Liber J. B. No. 1478, folio 572, etc., con-
veying a lot of ground and premises on the north side of Ran-
dall street, forty-seven feet and ten inches westerly from Bat-
tery avenue, having a rectangular depth northerly of eighty-six
feet, in said City of Baltimore;
With full power to said Minister and Trustees of the German
Evangelical Salem Church of the City of Baltimore to hold,
mortgage, sell, convey, lease or otherwise dispose of any and all
property acquired under the deeds hereinbefore mentioned.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
