CHAPTER 388.

AN ACT to repeal section 152 of Article three of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Baltimore County,"
as passed by the General Assembly of Maryland in 1908,
Chapter 495, and to re-enact said section with amendments
to be designated as section 152 of Article 3 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Baltimore County," providing for
penalty for violation of sections 147 and 148 of Article 3,
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Baltimore
County," to read as follows:

SECTION l. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 152 of Article 3 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Baltimore County," as passed by the
General Assembly of Maryland in 1908, Chapter 495, be and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments,
to be designated as section 152 of Article 3 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Baltimore County," as
passed by the General Assembly of Maryland in 1908, and to
read as follows:

SEC. 152. Upon information given upon oath or affirma-
tion to any justice of the peace in and for Baltimore county
of any violation of section 147 or section 148, he shall issue
his warrant for the arrest of the offender and for the seizure of
the seines, nets, boats and other fishing outfit to be directed to
the sheriff or any constable of the county or other officer
authorized to make arrests or any citizens; and it shall be the
duty of any sheriff, constable or other officer authorized to
make arrests or citizen, upon receipt of said warrant, to arrest
any person violating either of said sections, and to seize any
such seines, net, boat or other fishing outfit found being used
in such violation, and to bring such offender before a justice
of the peace most accessible or convenient, and upon conviction
thereof the said offender shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and
be fined not less than fifty nor more than two hundred dollars,
and shall forfeit the seine or net, boat and other outfit used
in such fishing, which shall be sold and the proceeds of said
sale to be paid to the informer.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
