SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 363.
AN ACT making it a misdemeanor to take or catch fish in the
waters of Chicacomico River, in Dorchester county, with a
haul seine or to use a haul seine in said waters and fixing
a penalty therefor.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall be unlawful to catch fish in the waters of
Chicacomico River, in Dorchester county, with a haul seine, or
to use a haul seine therein, and that so taking or catching fish
in the waters of said river or using a haul seine in said waters
is hereby made a misdemeanor and punishable by a fine of not
less than twenty nor more than fifty dollars and costs.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That any person or persons con-
victed by any Court of competent jurisdiction or justice of the
peace of violating section one of this act, shall stand committed
to the county jail until the fine imposed and costs are paid,
one-half of which fine shall go to the informer.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 364.
AN ACT to regulate the salaries of school teachers in Wicomico
county, Maryland, and to provide for the levying by the
County Commissioners of said county of the funds necessary
to provide for the payment of the salaries of such teachers.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Board of County School Commissioners for
Wicomico County shall fix the salaries of all teachers employed
in said county, and that on and after the first day of Septem-
ber, 1912, all white teachers regularly employed in the public
schools of Wicomico county holding a first-class teacher's certifi-
cate and having taught for a period of three years in any of
the public schools of the State of Maryland, shall receive a
