equipment furnished for or about the work provided for in
this act, or for or about the roads and bridges in Baltimore
county, and that he will not, directly or indirectly, receive any
pecuniary profit or reward for OF in connection with his duties
as such Good Roads Commissioner except as provided in this
act. Each member of the commission shall give bond to the
State of Maryland for the faithful performance of his duties in
the penalty of ten thousand dollars by personal or corporate
surety satisfactory to the clerk of the Circuit Court for Balti-
more County. Each member of the commission shall receive
as compensation for his services as such a salary of two thou-
sand dollars per annum. Immediately upon the taking the oath
aforesaid, the members of said commission shall organize by
the election of a chairman, who shall preside over its meetings
and perform such other duties as are imposed upon him by
this act or as may be assigned to him by said commission. They
shall also adopt such rules of procedure as may seem to them
requisite and necessary. The majority of the members of said
commission, when assembled at a regular or special meeting,
duly called, shall be a lawful quorum for the transaction of
business, and in all business of said commission a majority
vote shall control. Said Good Roads Commission shall meet
not less than once in each week at its office in Towson to trans-
act the business connected, with its duties under this act, and
shall hold such other meetings and at such other places as the
proper discharge of its duties may require. Said commission
shall elect a secretary, not a member of the commission, who
shall be removable at the pleasure of said commission, and
who shall receive such compensation as the commission shall
determine, not exceeding the sum of eighteen hundred dollars
per annum. He shall enter in the journal of said commis-
sion full and accurate minutes of all meetings and records of
all proceedings of said commission, to be attested each week
by the chairman of said commission and his own signature. He
shall also keep books showing in detail the work done and the
expenditure of money upon each section or portion of roads
and bridges Constructed or improved under the direction of
said commission in each election district of Baltimore county,
and shall perform such other duties as may be assigned to
him by said commission. Said commission shall semi-annually
issue a bulletin in printed form for general distribution show-
ing in detail an approximate statement of the work completed
and the work under contract and not completed in each election
district of Baltimore county and the cost thereof, together with
such other items of interest in connection with its work under
