ordinances to enable them to enforce the provisions hereof and
providing systematic arrangements in respect thereto.
SEC. 20. All acts or parts of acts inconsistent with any of
the provisions of this act are hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 200.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, sections 3
and 5 of Article 30, of the Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland of 1904, entitled "Deaf, Dumb and Blind, Educa-
tion of."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That sections 3 and 5 of Article 30 of the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland of 1904, title "Deaf, Dumb
and Blind, Education of," be and the same are hereby repealed
and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
SEC. 3. A sum not exceeding thirty-three thousand ($33,-
000) dollars shall be annually appropriated to be applied under
the direction of the Governor in placing for instruction in the
Maryland School for the Blind, formerly known as the Mary-
land Institution for the Instruction of the Blind, such indi-
gent blind persons, inhabitants of this State and of the county
or city from which they are recommended, as may be recom-
mended to the Governor by the County Commissioners of each
county, or by the judges of the Orphans' Court of Baltimore
City.
SEC. 5. The amount per annum paid for any one individual
shall not exceed the sum of three hundred and fifty ($350.00)
dollars.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
