school where employed and the salary to be paid each, to assist
them in determining the amount to be levied for such pur-
pose; which said amount so levied shall be paid over to said
Board of County School Commissioners by the treasurer of
the county in equal monthly instalments on the last day of
each month, so as to be available for the payment of the salar-
ies of the teachers when same are due. And it is hereby made
the further duty of the Board of County School Commissioners
of Anne Arundel County and it is hereby directed and required
to appropriate from and set aside out of the monies received
from the State of Maryland in quarterly distribution, other
than the School Book Fund, and immediately upon receipt
thereof such an amount as may be necessary, together with the
amount received from Anne Arundel county under this act, to
pay the salaries of all the teachers in full as provided by this
act, and the amount so paid over to said Board of County
School Commissioners by the treasurer of Anne Arundel county,
together with the amount appropriated from and set aside out
of each quarterly distribution from the State as hereinbefore
provided, shall be kept by the treasurer of the said Board of
School Commissioners as a separate fund from all other funds
received by him, and shall be devoted to no other purpose or
object than the payment of the salaries provided for by this
act.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 189.
AN ACT to repeal section 756 of Article 4 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland, entitled "City of Baltimore,"
sub-title "Police Commissioners," as repealed and re-enacted
by Chapter 494 of the Acts of 1898, as amended by Chapter
233 of the Acts of 1900, as amended by Chapter 81 of the
Acts of 1902, as amended by Chapter 391 of the Acts of
1910, and to re-enact the said section with amendments; and
to add an additional section thereto to follow section 756,
to be known and designated as section 756A; both of said
sections relating to the retiring, on pay, members of the
Police Department.
