CHAPTER 169.

AN ACT to add one section to Article 77 of the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland of 1904, title "Public Educa-
tion," sub-title "State Board of Education," said section to
be known as section 15A, and follow section 15 of said Arti-
cle 77, the same being designed to provide for the publica-
tion of an approved list of colleges and universities.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That one new section, to be known as section 15A, be and
the same is hereby added to Article 77 of the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland of 1904, same to follow section 15
of said Article 77.

15A. The State Board of Education may, in its discretion,
prepare and publish annually a list of approved colleges and
universities and determine by by-laws the standards for said
approval.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 173.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments sections 124,
125, 126, 127, 128, 129, 130, 131, 137 and 138 of Chapter
269 of the Acts of Assembly of 1902, amending Article 77
of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title "Pub-
lic Education," by adding certain sections thereto under the
sub-title "School Attendance;" to add an additional section
thereto to be known as section 124A; and to repeal sections
132, 133, 134, 135 and 136 of said Chapter 269 of the Acts
of 1902.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That sections 124, 125, 126, 127, 128, 129, 130, 131.
