plumber be one of the Board of Health hereafter appointed
from time to time, but in no case shall the Inspector of Plumb-
ing be a member of the Board of Health, provided that nothing
in this section shall tend to change the membership of a Board
of Health, or add an additional member thereto, where such
Board of Health is already - provided for and its membership
specified by charter of said incorporated city or town in Alle-
gany county.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That two new sections
be added to Chapter 206 of the Acts of Assembly of Maryland,
1904, title "Allegany County," sub-title "Plumbing and Sewer
Drainage," to be known as section 44 and section 45, to follow
after section 42 as above re-enacted, so as to read as follows:

44. That the Board of Health of the respective incor-
porated city or town in Allegany county are further empowered
and are hereby directed to make such regulations for the con-
trol of sanitary plumbing work as in their judgment is nec-
essary for the proper carrying out the provisions of this act,
and for the protection of the health of the citizens of the said
town or city. Such regulations as above provided shall deal in
detail with plumbing work, as to weight of pipe, size and kind
of pipe, etc.

45. That the regulations issued by the Board of Health of
any incorporated city or town in Allegany county shall have
the same force as the provisions of this act, and violations shall
be punished as provided for in section 7 of this act.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That sections 11, 19, 21,
22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 34, 35, 36, 37 and
43 of Chapter 206 of the Acts of Assembly of 1904 be and
they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That all ofienses com-
mitted against and all prosecutions begun under the provisions
of Chapter 206 of the Acts of Assembly of 1904 prior to May
1st, 1912, may and shall be prosecuted and punished under
the provisions of Chapter 206 of Acts of 1904.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from May 1st, 1912.
