SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect

CHAPTER 147.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, section 6 of
Article 81 of the Code of 1904 of the Public General Laws
of Maryland, as the same was amended by the Act of 1910,
Chapter 619.

CHAPTER 148.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments section 78 of
Article 93 of the Code of Public General Laws of 1904, title
"Testamentary Law."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 78 of Article 93 of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws of Maryland of 1904, title "Testamentary Law," be
and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments so as to read as follows:

78. No such foreign executor or administrator shall be
authorized to transfer any such stock until after he shall have
given at least one month's notice by advertisement published
once a week for four weeks in one daily newspaper of the City
of Baltimore, stating therein the death of his testator or
intestate and the amount and description of stock intended to
be transferred.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

tional notaries public for Baltimore City.
