60. To the University of Maryland Lying-in Hospital, the
sum of four thousand dollars for the fiscal year 1913, and the
like sum of four thousand dollars for the fiscal year 1914.
61. To the Hospital for Consumptives of Maryland, at
Eudowood, the sum of twenty-five thousand dollars for the fis-
cal year 1913, and the like sum of twenty-five thousand dollars
for the fiscal year 1914.
62. To the Silver Cross Home for Epileptics, Port Deposit,
Maryland, the sum of fifteen hundred dollars for the fiscal year
1913. and the like sum of fifteen hundred dollars for the fiscal
year 1914.
63. To the Baltimore Day Nursery, the sum of fifteen hun-
dred dollars for the fiscal year 1913, and the like sum of fifteen
hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1914.
64. To the South Baltimore Day Nursery, the sum of fif-
teen hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1913, and the like sum
of fifteen hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1914.
65. To the Baltimore General Dispensary, the sum of fif-
teen hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1913, and the like sum
of fifteen hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1914.
66. To the Southern Dispensary of Baltimore, the sum of
five hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1913, and the like sum
of five hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1914.
67. To the Maryland Society for the Protection of Chil-
dren, the sum of fifteen hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1913,
and the like sum of fifteen hundred dollars for the fiscal year
1914.
68. To the Anne Arundel County Academy, the sum of
three thousand dollars for the fiscal year 1913, and the like
sum of three thousand dollars for the fiscal year 1914.
69. To Charlotte Hall School, St. Mary's County, the sum
of seven thousand dollars for the fiscal year 1913, and the like
sum of seven thousand dollars for the fiscal year 1914.
70. To F. Knapp's English and German Institute, Balti-
more City, the sum of twelve hundred dollars for the fiscal year
1913, and the like sum of twelve hundred dollars for the fiscal
year 1914; and in consideration of said appropriation the said
F. Knapp's English and German Institute is hereby required
and directed to maintain twelve free scholarships, heretofore
established in said institution for the training and education
of indigent mutes, and to train and educate twelve indigent
mutes and to furnish them with necessary text-books, appli-
ances, etc.
