communities as well as to the health of the citizens of the Dis-
trict of Columbia; and
WHEREAS, The General Assembly of Maryland is about to
enact a bill creating and naming a commission to determine the
most feasible method of disposing of sewage and drainage from
the above sections of Montgomery and Prince George's coun-
ties; and
WHEREAS, Any comprehensive plan which may be proposed
by the commission must necessarily involve and connect with
the sewerage system of the District of Columbia; therefore,
be it
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of
America in Congress assembled be and they are hereby respect-
fully requested to name and appoint a commission on behalf of
the District of Columbia, to act jointly with the commission
named by the General Assembly of Maryland, in the investiga-
tion of the most feasible method of disposing of sewage and
drainage from those sections of Montgomery and Prince
George's counties adjoining the District of Columbia; and be it
further
Resolved, That the Secretary of State be and he is hereby
requested to transmit under the seal of this State a copy of the
aforegoing Resolution and Memorial to each of the Senators and
Representatives now in Congress from Maryland, with the
request that they lay the same before their respective Houses
in support of the measure hereinbefore set forth.

WHEREAS, The Maryland Reports contain much matter of
historical interest and value to the general public; and
WHEREAS, It is important that the decisions of the Court of
Appeals, as the highest legal tribunal of the State, should be
readily accessible to the people thereof; and
WHEREAS, There is no convenient place in the City of Balti-
more in which said reports may be consulted by the readers in
general; therefore be it
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
State Librarian be authorized to deposit a set of all such reports
as may be available in the duplicate collection of the Maryland
State Librarian in the Enoch Pratt Free Library of Baltimore
City, and Library of the Peabody Institute, on condition that
the privilege of consulting said volumes be given to all persons
