SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Treasurer of the State, upon warrant of the
Comptroller, is hereby authorized and directed to pay to R.
L. Werntz, of Annapolis, Maryland, the sum of sixty-two
dollars and fifty cents ($62.50) balance due for rent, and
twenty-eight dollars and twelve cents ($28.12) interest on said
principal due and owing him on that part of City Hotel, now
Colonial Theatre, used and occupied by Companies "G" and
"M" First Regiment Infantry, "M. N. G.," from the 12th
day of May, 1904, to the 12th day o'f August, 1904, as appears
in said lease, now on file in the office of the Adjutant General.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 798.
AN ACT to authorize and empower the Cedar Grove Branch of
the West River Mutual Beneficial Association of Anne Arun-
del County, to separate from the West River Mutual Bene-
ficial Association of Anne Arundel County and to authorize
the said Cedar Grove Branch of the West River Mutual
Beneficial Association of Anne Arundel County to incor-
porate as a corporation to be known as the Cedar Grove
Mutual Association of Anne Arundel County.

CHAPTER 799.
AN ACT to repeal section 48z of Article 24 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws, title "Worcester County," sub-title "Berlin,"
as enacted by Chapter 521 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1910, and re-enact the same with amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 48z of Article 24 of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Worcester County," sub-title "Berlin," as
enacted by Chapter 521 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
1910, be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so
as to read as follows:
48z. That the Mayor and City Council of Berlin shall have
power to provide by ordinance for the establishment and change
