431. The commissioners shall not expend or contract to
expend in any one year more money than the amount receivable
from taxes and other sources for that year.

1890, ch. 235, sec. 165.

432. The county commissioners, justices of the peace, sher-
iff,, constables, and all State and county officers shall have, hold
and exercise their offices and jurisdiction in said town as if this
charter had not been granted; and the County Commissioners
of Montgomery County shall on or before the first day of Jan-
uary in the year eighteen hundred and ninety-one, and on or
before the first day of January in each and every year there-
after, pay over to the commissioners of Poolesville that pro-
portion of the entire county levy that the levy for the repair
of roads which the total real property assessed within the limits
of the town of Poolesville bears to the whole amount of assessed
property in Montgomery county, so that the Commissioners of
Polesville may receive and disburse for the repair and main-
tenance of the streets of said town the amount levied upon the
real property within the corporate limits of the town of Pooles-
ville for the repair of roads by the said County Commissioners
of Montgomery County.

433. The commissioners shall have power to establish build-
ing lines on all the streets in said town, or which shall here-
after be opened therein, and to compel all persons hereafter
erecting buildings in said town to conform thereto.

RAILROAD FARES.
1910, ch. 220, sec. 1.

434. That the Washington and Rockville Railway Com-
pany, a corporation operating an electric railway for about nine
and three-quarter miles, from the line of the District of Colum-
bia to the west end of the town of Rockville, in Montgomery
county, shall divide the line of its said railway into not exceed-
ing three fare-zones, the first of which shall extend from the
line of the District of Columbia to the first street crossing of
said railroad east of the present residence of Cyrus Keiser,
and the remainder of said railroad shall be divided into two
fare-zones, of as nearly equal distance in length as the point of
meeting thereof upon a public highway will permit, and shall
not charge passengers on its cars on said railway an amount
exceeding five cents for each of said fare-zones or part of a.
zone through which such passenger may travel.
