PHILLIPS LEE GOLDSBOROUGH, ESQ., GOVERNOR. 1255

trict of St. Mary's county, and one at or near Dynard on
the road leading to Milestown, on the Seventh Election Dis-
trict of St. Mary's county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of St. Mary's County
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to levy a sum
of taxes in the year 1912, not to exceed twelve hundred dollars
($1,200), to build two school houses for white children, one
near St. Andrew's Church on the road leading to Indian
Bridge, in the Eighth Election District of St. Mary's county,
and one at or near Dynard on the road leading to Milestown,
in the Seventh Election District of St. Mary's county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Board of School Com-
missioners of St. Mary's County shall contract for building of
said school houses by bids in the usual form, awarding the
same to the lowest responsible bidder, provided said bid does
not exceed six hundred dollars ($600) for each of the said
school houses.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 758.

AN ACT to repeal section 40 of Article 9 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Charles County," sub-title
"Birds and Game," and to re-enact same with amendments, to
read as follows:

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 40 of Article 9 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland be and the same is hereby repealed and re-en-
acted with amendments, so as to read as follows:

SEC. 40. It shall not be lawful for any person not a bona
fide resident of said county, or any corporation, to shoot, entrap
or in any manner to kill or catch any partridges, woodcock or
rabbit in the said county without having first obtained from the
Clerk of the Circuit Court for said county a license permitting
the person named in said license to shoot, kill or trap said game
in said county during the time when the killing of said game is
made lawful; and the person named therein shall pay the said
clerk for such license the sum of twenty dollars, which amount
shall be turned over to the Board of School Commissioners by
