fied copies of such records.

CHAPTER 70.
AN ACT to amend Chapter 575 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, entitled An Act authorizing and
directing the judges of the Circuit Court for Charles County
to appoint a court stenographer, by adding new sections
thereto to be designated as sections A and B.
SECTION A. And be it further enacted, That the said stenog-
rapher so appointed shall make and deliver to the olerk of the
Circuit Court for Charles County, to be by him filed in each
and every case in which said stenographic notes shall be taken
as required by the preceding section, a carbon copy of the said
notes of testimony and judicial opinions so. taken, written out
in full upon a typewriter, within three days after the taking
of testimony and judicial opinion in each and every case, but
for which he shall receive no extra compensation.
SEC. B. And be it further enacted, That this act shall
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 71.
AN ACT to authorize the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore
to appropriate a sum not exceeding five thousand dollars
($5,000.00) annually for the Maryland Workshop for the
Blind, and to ratify the appropriation made in the ordinance
of estimates for the year 1912.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore be and it
is hereby authorized and empowered to appropriate for the
Maryland Workshop for the Blind a sum not exceeding five
thousand dollars ($5,000.00) annually, to aid in the mainte-
nance of the work of that institution.
SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That the appropriation made
by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore in the Ordinance
