low immediately after section 2 of the aforesaid Chapter 547
and which said new section shall read as follows:
SEC. 2A. Be it further enacted, That an additional sum of
fifty dollars ($50.00) be and the same is hereby appropriated
to provide for the payment for a suitable frame for the said
portrait of Francis Scott Key, and that upon the completion of
the painting of the said portrait by the person selected by the
Board of Public Works and to the satisfaction of that body, the
said Board of Public Works shall issue its certificate to the
Oomptroller that said work has been completed by the person
so selected, whereupon the Comptroller shall issue his warrant
upon the Treasurer in favor of the person so named for the
said additional sum of fifty dollars ($50.00).
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 741.
AN ACT to create and name a commission to determine the most
feasible method of disposing of sewage and drainage from
certain sections of Prince George's and Montgomery counties,
including the probable cost and best method of providing for
payment of such system or systems as may be recommended
and to report to the next Legislature result of such investiga-
tion, and further providing a certain sum to pay the cost of
such investigation.

CHAPTER 742.
AN ACT authorizing the appointment of a commission to be
known as the Maryland Country Life Commission.
WHEREAS, The Governor of this State, in his inaugural address,
suggested the wisdom and recommended the appointment of a
commission to investigate the conditions of country life, as
they exist in Maryland, said suggestion and recommendation
being as follows:
