CHAPTER 736.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments section 65 of
Article 3 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Balti-
more County," to add two sections to said article to be desig-
nated as sections 65A and 65B, and to repeal section 336 of
said article, the whole so amending the provisions of said arti-
cle as to provide for dividing Baltimore county for the pur-
pose of the election of county commissioners into five commis-
sioner districts, the election of one county commissioner from
each of said commissioner districts, an increase in the salaries
of said commissioners and the repeal of the section of said
article allowing the county commissioners of said county to
be elected under this act additional compensation as mem-
bers of the Highways Commission of said county.

CHAPTER 737.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments section 3 of
Article 51 of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Juries," sub-title "Qualification and Selection of Jurors."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 3 of Article 51 of the Code of Public General
Laws, title "Juries," sub-title "Qualification and Selection of
Jurors," be repealed and re-enacted with amendments to read as
follows:

3. All persons over seventy years of age and all delegates,
coroners and constables during their continuance in office, and
all schoolmasters, physicians and pharmacists shall be exempt
from attendance as jurors.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
