highways of said town, and to sell and furnish electric light
and power to the citizens of said town for domestic and
manufacturing purposes.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a section be added to Article 1 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland, title ''Allegany County," sub-title
"Westernport," to be designated as section 249A, and to read
as follows:
249A. The Commissioners of Westernport shall have the
power to build, construct, operate and maintain an electric light
works in the Town of Westernport for the purpose of lighting
the streets and highways of said town, and to sell and furnish
electric light and power to the citizens of said town for domes-
tic and manufacturing purposes.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 729.
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money for the equipment of
the Agricultural High School at Baden, Maryland; to pro-
vide for State aid therefor, and for the admittance thereto
free of cost, pupils from the counties of Charles, St. Mary's,
Calvert and Anne Arundel.

CHAPTER 730.
AN ACT to authorize the Mayor and Councilmen of Frostburg
to issue bonds for the purpose of paving, grading and other-
wise improving the streets, alleys and lanes of the Town of
Frostburg.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Mayor and Councilmen of Frostburg be and
they are hereby authorized to issue coupon bonds in the name
of the said corporation to an amount not to exceed fifty thousand
dollars ($50,000), which said bonds shall be signed by the
