county for the payment of the said bonds and the coupon
thereon, provided that on or before May 1st, 1912, certain,
donations be made, as hereinafter provided, to the said County
Commissioners to be applied by them for the purposes
herein.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Montgomery County
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to issue bonds
to the amount of nine thousand dollars for the purpose of build-
ing, improving and relocating the public road between the cor-
porate limits of the town of Kensington and the corporate
limits of the town of Garrett Park and thence from the cor-
porate limits of said town on the west to the Rockville and
Georgetown turnpike, within the seventh, fourth and thirteenth
election districts of said county, and to further issue bonds to
the amount of three thousand dollars for the purpose of improv-
ing the public road from the railroad station at Forest Glenn,
in said county, to the Washington and Brookville Turnpike
within the thirteenth election district of said county, and to
levy and collect taxes in the seventh, fourth and thirteenth dis-
tricts of said county, for the payments of said bonds and coupons
as hereinafter stated, provided that on or before May 1st, 1912,
the sum of one thousand dollars be donated to the said County
Commissioners of Montgomery County to be applied by them
for the purpose of building, improving and relocating the said
road from the Town of Kensington to the Rockville and George-
town Turnpike, as herein stated, and the further sum of one
thousand dollars be donated to the said County Commissioners
to be applied by them for the purpose of improving the said
Forest Glen road as herein stated.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the said County
Commissioners be and they are hereby directed, upon the pay-
ment of the sum of one thousand dollars on account of the
Kensington Garrett Park road as herein provided, to borrow
on the credit of said county the sum of nine thousand dollars,
and the said County Commissioners be and they are hereby fur-
ther authorized and directed upon the payment of the sum of
one thousand dollars, on account of the Forest Glen road, as
herein provided, to borrow on the credit of said county the
additional sum of three thousand; and the said County Com-
missioners shall issue coupon bonds therefor under the cor-
porate seal of the said County Commissioners, signed by the
president of the Board of County Commissioners and counter
signed by the clerk thereof, in sums not less than one hundred
