CHAPTER 64.
AN ACT to repeal section 49 of Article 25 of the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland of 1904, title "County Commis-
sioners", sub-title "Draining Lands", and to re-enact the
same with amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 49 of Article 25 of the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland of 1904, title "County Commis-
sioners", sub-title "Draining Lands", be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read as fol-
lows:
49. The managers for the time being shall annually there-
after in the same manner call a meeting for the same purpose
on the first Saturday in March, but if the managers for the time
being shall have failed heretofore to call such a meeting or shall
hereafter fail to call such a meeting, then the County Com-
missioners be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
appoint such managers and treasurer upon proof that no such
ineeting'has been called by the managers for the time being.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 65.
AN ACT authorizing and directing the County Commissioners
of Montgomery County to issue bonds to the amount of nine
thousand dollars for the purpose of building, improving and
relocating the public road between the corporate limits of the
Town of Kensington and the corporate limits of the Town
pf Garrett Park and thence from the corporate limits of said
town on the west to the Rockville and Georgetown turnpike;
within the seventh, fourth and thirteenth election districts of
said county, and to issue bonds to the amount of three
thousand dollars, for the purpose of improving the public
road from Forest Glen to the Washington and Brookville
Turnpike in said county, within the thirteenth election dis-
trict of said county, and to levy and collect taxes in the
said seventh, fourth and thirteenth election districts of said
