1164 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [Ch. 707]

County Commissioners of Kent county shall proceed to execute
the powers vested in them by this act; but if the majority of
the votes cast at said election upon said question shall be
"Against Court House Bonds," then this act shall be of no
effect

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 707.

AN ACT to incorporate the Farmers and Truckers' Exchange
of Admiral, Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That John W. Disney, Geo. L. Jacobs, Thos. I. Waters,
Arthur A. Downes, Harry J. Dudley, John G. Friedhoferr
Samuel S. Minchead, Harry Wagner and G. Thomas Beasley,
and the subscribers to the stock of the corporation hereby
created and their successors and assigns be and they are hereby
created a body corporate by the name of the Farmers and
Truckers' Exchange of Admiral, Anne Arundel County, Mary-
land, and by that name shall have perpetual succession and shall
be competent to sue and be sued in any court of law or equity
whatever, to have and to use a common seal, to alter the same
at its pleasure, to make and adopt by-laws for the government
of said body corporate and its officers, agents and employees,
and from time to time amend the same, to elect or appoint
directors and officers, and generally to do, execute and enforce
all and singular such acts, contracts, matters and things as may
be necessary to carry out the object and purposes to protect the
interests of said body corporate and exercise the power or
powers by this act conferred upon it. The office of this cor-
poration shall be located in Admiral, Anne Arundel County,
Maryland.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the capital stock of
said body corporate shall consist of two hundred shares of the
par value of five dollars ($5.00) each, with the privilege of
increasing the same from time to time to such an amount as the
stockholders may from time to time deem needful but not
exceeding $300,000.00 by a vote of the holders of a majority
of the stock present at any annual or special meeting or meet-
ings, and the incorporators or a majority of them named in
this act shall have power to open books for subscription at such
times and places in the said town of Admiral and elsewhere as
