the school treasurer, except on warrant of said building edm-
mittee.

SEC. 8, And be it further enacted, That this act shall tako
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 55.

AN ACT to empower the County Commissioners of Montgomery
County, Maryland, to furnish the justices of the peace of
said county with Thomas' Procedure in Justice Cases.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Montgomery County,
Maryland, are empowered and are hereby instructed to furnish
each and every justice of the peace of Montgomery county with
one copy of Thomas' Procedure in Justice Cases.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said books shall be the
property of the said County Commissioners of Montgomery
County, and shall be returned to the said County Commission-
ers by the said Justices of the Peace when their terms of office
shall expire.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the County Commissioners
of Montgomery County are authorized to levy such taxes as this
act shall require,

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 56.

An ACT to authorize and empower the Visitors of Anne Arun-
del County Free School, a body politic, to sell all of its land
in said county, including the two acres excepted by Chap-
ter 577 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of
1910, and to purchase other land at or near Rutland in
said county for the purpose of erecting thereon a new school
house.
