47, 48, 49, 52, 53, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59 and 60; and to enact
the following 14 new sections to said Article 10, title "Dor-
chester County," sub-title "Cambridge," to wit: Sections
45A and 45s, to follow immediately after section 45; section
55A to follow immediately after said section 55; and sections
60A, 60B, 60C, 60D, 60E, 60F, 60G, 60H, 60I, 60I and 60K,
to follow immediately after said section 60.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 45 of Article 10 of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Dorchester County," sub-title "Cambridge," as
amended by Chapter 233 of the Acts 1910; section 46, as
amended by Chapter 81 of the Acts of 1910, sections 47 and
56, as amended by Chapter 339 of the Acts of 1900, sections
48, 49, 52, 53, 55, 57, 58 and 60, as amended by Chapter
395 of the Acts of 1904, and section 59, as amended by Chapter
470 1/2 of the Acts of 1906 and by Chapter 233 of the Acts of
1910, all being sections of said Article 10, title and sub-title
as aforesaid, be and the same are hereby repealed and that the
following sections be and the same are hereby enacted as sec-
tions of said Article 10, title and sub-title as aforesaid as sub-
stitutes for and to stand in the place and stead of said sections,
repealed as aforesaid, to wit: Sections 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 52,
53, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59 and 60, and that the following 14 new
sections be and the same are hereby enacted as sections of said
Article 10, title "Dorchester County," sub-title "Cambridge,"
to wit: Sections 45A and 45s to follow immediately after sec-
tion 45; section 55A to follow immediately after section 55 ; and
sections 60A, 60B, 60C, 60D, 60E, 60F, 60G, 60H, 60I, 60J and
60K to follow immediately after section 60 so that said sections
repealed and re-enacted as aforesaid and said new sections shall
read as follows:
The Commissioners.
45. The corporate authority, government, rights, powers
and prerogatives of Cambridge shall be vested in and exercised
by five commissioners, who shall be known as "The Commis-
sioners of Cambridge," and shall be elected as in this article
is provided. The three commissioners who shall be elected
from Wards 1, 4 and 5 at the election to be held on the sec-
ond Wednesday of July, 1912, as hereinafter provided, shall
hold office for four years .from said second Wednesday of July
and until their successors are elected and qualified, and the
two commissioners who shall be elected from Wards 2 and 3
