PHILLIPS LEE GOLDSBOROUGH, ESQ., GOVERNOR. 1071

Election District, and furnishing a registry of voters for the
new precinct the Supervisors of Elections of Dorchester County
are hereby directed to furnish new duplicate registers for the
precinct formed by this act and to direct and require their
clerk to make up from the registration books of No. 2 or East
New Market Election District as said books originally made a
registry of voters for the new precinct created by this act, by
striking from the original registries the names of all registered
voters who have been registered in East New Market or No. 2
Election District and to inscribe the same on the new registra-
tion books of the new precinct hereby created and established
and when said clerk to said supervisors shall have erased from
the old and inscribed in the .new books the names of voters who
are entitled to register only in the said new precinct in all
cases of erasure the said clerk shall draw a line in red ink
through the name just erased or transferred and under the head-
ing "Remarks" on said old registries shall enter the word
"Transferred" by a formation of a new precinct and the said
Supervisors of Elections are hereby required to deliver said
new register to the registers of voters to be appointed for said
new precinct; at the same time that other registration books
are delivered or required by law to be delivered for the annual
registration of voters. For his services in erasing the names
from the old book and inscribing them in the registries of the
new precinct, the said clerk shall receive the sum not exceeding
forty dollars, to be paid by the County Commissioners of
Dorchester County, on the certificate and order of the said
Supervisors of Elections.

CHAPTER 687.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, section 121
of Article 27 of the Code of Public General Laws of Mary-
land (1904), entitled "Crimes and Punishments," sub-title
"Fraud — Boarding House, Hotel and Livery Stable
Keepers."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 121 of Article 27 of the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland (1904), entitled "Crimes and Pun-
ishments," sub-title "Frand—Boarding House, Hotel and Liv-
ery Stable Keepers," be and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted with amendments so as to read as follows:
