(Ridgely) Election District, Caroline County, for the use
and benefit of the County Agricultural High School, and
particularly for the erection of a building for said school, and
also to make a like levy for the same amount and for the
same purpose on the assessable property of Caroline county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Caroline County, at
the time of the making of the annual tax levy for the year
nineteen hundred and twelve, are hereby authorized and
required to make a special levy on each one hundred dollars
of the whole assessable properly situated in the Seventh
(Ridgely) Election District, in Caroline County, at such rate
as will be necessary to raise the amount of seven thousand five
hundred dollars, which is set forth in a petition of taxpayers
of said election district, to be collected as other county taxes in
said county are collected, and said special levy to be paid over
to the Board of County School Commissioners of Caroline
County, the same to be used by the said Board of County School
Commissioners for the construction of a County Agricultural
High School building in Ridgely, the cost of which shall be not
less than fifteen thousand dollars. The location of and plans
for said building shall have the approval of the Ridgely Board
of District School Trustees.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the County Commissioners
of Caroline County, at the time of the making of the annual
tax levy for the year nineteen hundred and twelve, are hereby
authorized and required to make a special levy on the whole
assessable property in said county for the purpose of raising' a
like amount of money as may be collected from the levy to be
made on the assessable property in the Seventh (Ridgely)
Election District, in said county, as authorized in section 1 of
this act, and the said amount shall be paid over by the said
County Commissioners to the Board of School Commissioners
of Caroline County as early in the year nineteen hundred and
twelve as possible, but not later than January first, nineteen
hundred and thirteen.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the sum so levied and col-
lected, as provided in section 2 of this act, shall be entered by
the County Commissioners of said county to the use of the
Board of County School Commissioners of Caroline County for
the purpose aforesaid, and that said Board of County School
Commissioners are hereby empowered and required to build
and to supervise the construction of said school building and the
