CHAPTER 48.

AN ACT to amend the charter of the Planters' Mutual Insurance
Company of Washington County, being Chapter 165 of the
Acts of the General Assembly for the year 1845, by increas-
ing the number of directors from seven to eleven.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 4 of Chapter 165 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland for the year 1845, being an act entitled
"An Act to Incorporate the Planters' Mutual Insurance Com-
pany of Washington County," be amended by striking out the
word "seven" and inserting the word "eleven" in said section 4,
so that hereafter the affairs of said corporation shall be man-
aged by a board of directors consisting of eleven members, and
in all other respecta said section 4 to remain in full force and
effect as originally enacted.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

Approved March 27, 1912.

CHAPTER 49.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with an amendment section 73 of
Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,,
entitled "Washington County," sub-title "Clearspring."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 73 of Article 22 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, entitled "Washington County," sub-title
"Clearspring," be repealed and re-enacted so as to read as fol-
lows:

SEC. 73. The bounds and limits of said town are as follows:
Beginning on the north margin of the State road, east of said
town, and at a point north 9 degrees 40 minutes west 3 feet
distant from a stone marked "82 M. to B.," running first north
23 degrees west 56 1/2 perches to the northeast corner of a lot of
ground owned by P. S. B. Gsell; thence, second, south 63 1/2
degrees, west 112.8 perches, to the northwest corner of George
Briscoe's lot, which adjoins the land of Mrs. Lillie B. McDon-
ald; thence, third, with a line of said land south 35 degrees,
west 103 1/2 perches, to the southwest corner of a lot owned by
Mrs. Mary E. Feidt; thence, fourth, north 31 degrees, east 85
