102 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [Ch. 47]

Laws, title "Dorchester County," sub-title "Furs," as amended
by Chapter 506 of the Acts of 1906, be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read as fol-
lows:

188. No person shall trap, shoot or in any way or manner
catch, kill or wound any muskrat or otter in Dorchester county
between the first day of April, in the year nineteen hundred and
twelve, and the first day of January, in the nineteen hundred
and thirteen, or between the fifteenth day of March and the first
day of January in each and every year, or in any year after the
year nineteen hundred and twelve.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved March 19, 1912.

CHAPTER 47.

AN ACT to add an additional section to Chapter 531 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the Ses-
sion of 1910, and to be known as section 7, authorizing the
Mayor and Commissioners of Westernport, in Allegany
county, to borrow money and issue bonds, to provide for the
improvement and extension of the water system of said town,
and for the purpose of providing sewers, etc., this section to
give said Mayor and Commissioners the power to contract for
rights of way and the right to condemn for the laying of
water pipes, sewers and reservoirs to supply said town with
water.

SECTION 7. WHEREAS, By Chapter 531 of the Acts of the-
General Assembly of Maryland, 1910, pertaining to the Local
Laws of Allegany county, the Mayor and Commissioners of the
Town of Westernport were authorized to borrow money and
issue bonds for a sum of money not exceeding one hundred
thousand dollars for the purpose of providing .payment for the
improvement and extension of the water system of said town,
and for the purpose of providing sewers, paving streets and for
such other permanent improvements that may be found neces-
sary, etc., in accordance with the provisions of said act.

AND WHEREAS, The question of the issue of said bonds hav-
ing been submitted to the voters of said Town of Westernport
