such conditions as to suggest that it is kept for sale shall be
prima facie evidence of a violation of this act.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the first day of June, 1912.

CHAPTER 45.

AN ACT to authorize the Board of School Commissioners of
Washington County, Maryland, to pay to Amanda Barr, of
same county, out oŁ the school fund of said county, a pen-
sion.

WHEREAS, Amanda Barr, a citizen of this State, was for thirty-
five years continuously engaged in teaching in the public
schools of said Washington county, and during the time of
such services was totally disabled, and since on or about the
first day of September, nineteen hundred and nine, has been
incapacitated for work, and without means of maintenance;
therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Board of School Commissioners of Washington

County be and they are hereby authorized and empowered to
pay unto Amanda Barr out of the school funds of said county,
a pension of two hundred dollars ($200.00) per annum, to be
paid quarterly, for and during the tern; of her natural life, or
until the said Amanda Barr shall recover her health, so as to

enable her to support hereslf.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments section 188 of
Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Dorchester
County," sub-title "Furs," as amended by Chapter 506 of
the Acts of 1906.
