HONORABLE SIR:
I herewith submit the following report of the license inspectors of the State of Maryland for the
fiscal year beginning July 1st, 1953, and ending June 30th, 1954.
The total result of the inspection of licenses over the State of Maryland for the fiscal year 1953-54
amounted to $56,098.10. Of this amount $41,471.64 was collected in the counties, and $14,626.46
was collected in Baltimore City. The net amount of penalty collected in the counties amounted to
$16,353.93, and the net amount of penalty collected in Baltimore City amounted to $8,592.29.
The following is the list of the various kinds of licenses found to be necessary by the State license
inspectors in the counties and Baltimore City, and which had not been secured.
