the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland," passed at
the January session in the year eighteen hundred and ninety-
four, entitled "An Act to add new and additional sec-
tions to Article u of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland," title "Frederick County," sub-title "Fred-
erick," relating to elections in Frederick City, and to enact
in lieu thereof certain new and additional sections relating
to the registration of voters and to elections in Frederick
City aforesaid, to be added to said Article n of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Frederick
County," sub-title "Frederick," to follow Section 270A of
said Article, and to be known as Section 270B," etc.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 27oGG, sub-title "Nominations," Sec-
tions 270QQ, 27oRR, 27oTT, sub-title "Ballots and Bal-
lot Boxes," and Sections 270CCC, 270DDD, 270HHH
and 27oAAAAA., sub-title "Elections," of Chapter 2 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of the Session of
1898, entitled "An Act to repeal Chapter five hundred and
forty-four of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland,"
passed at the January Session in the year eighteen hundred
and ninety-four, entitled -"An Act to add new and additional
sections to Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland," title "Frederick County," sub-title "Fred-
erick," relating to elections in Frederick City, and to enact
in lieu thereof certain new and additional sections relating to
the registration of voters and to elections in Frederick City
aforesaid, to be added to said Article 11 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Frederick County,"
sub-title "Frederick," to follow Section 27oA of said Article,
and to be known as Sections 270B, etc., be and the same are
hereby severally repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
so as to read as follows:

Nominations.
|
270GG. All nominations made by such convention or pri-
mary meetings shall be certified as follows : The certificate of
nomination shall be in writing, shall contain the name of each
person nominated, his residence, his business, his address and
the office for which he is nominated, and shall designate, in
not more than five words, the party or principle which such
convention or primary meeting represents. It shall be signed
by the presiding officer and secretary of such convention, who
