Resolution in favor of Jane Miles.
WHEREAS, by resolution, number ninety-three, of December session, eighteen hundred and thirty-five, of the General Assembly of Maryland, the treasurer of the Western Shore of Maryland was directed to pay to Jane Miles, widow of Joshua Miles, an officer of the revolution, the half pay of a captain, in consideration of the services of her husband; and whereas, the said treasurer has doubts as to his authority to pay said half pay, for the want of the words, during her natural life: — Therefore, Be it resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the treasurer of the Western Shore of Maryland 96
