An act for the relief Peter A. Carnes, of Baltimore
|
Passed May 30,1836
|
County.
|
 
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
|
Insolvent
|
That the commissioners of insolvent debtors for the
|
 
|
city and county of Baltimore, be, and the same are
|
 
|
hereby authorised and empowered, to grant to Peter A.
|
 
|
Carnes of Baltimore county, the benefit of the several
|
 
|
acts of Assembly, passed for the relief of insolvent
|
 
|
debtors; Provided, the said Peter A. Carnes, shall in
|
 
|
all respects, except that of proving residence comply
|
 
|
with the requisitions of said acts of Assembly, and he
|
 
|
satisfy the said commissioners that he did not come
|
 
|
into this State with the view of obtaining the benefit
|
 
|
of said insolvent laws.
|
 
|
CHAPTER 389.
|
 
|
A supplement to the act, entitled, an act to divorce Eliza-
|
Passed June 3,1836
|
Chavalier, of the City of Baltimore, from her hus-
|
 
|
band Nicholas W. Cha-oalier.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
2d sec. repealed
|
Maryland, That the second section of the act, to
|
 
|
which this is a supplement, be, and the same is hereby
|
 
|
repealed.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Nicholas
|
Guardianship
|
W. Chavalier, be, and he is hereby declared to be en-
|
 
|
titled to the guardianship of his child or children, by
|
 
|
his marriage with the said Eliza Chavalier.
|
 
|
