LAWS OF MARYLAND,

CHAP. 338.

entitled, a further supplement to an act entitled, an

 

act to incorporate the Delaware and Maryland Rail

 

Road company, which prohibits the crossing of navi-

 

gable water by bridging by the company, be and the

 

same is hereby declared not to extend to any waters in

 

the State of Delaware; and that as regards Cecil

 

county, the provisions of said section be and the same

Proviso

are hereby repealed; Provided however, that no au-

 

thority shall be deemed hereby to be conferred so to

 

bridge any navigable waters in Cecil county, as to

 

prevent the passage of boats not using masts.

 

CHAPTER 337.

Passed April 2,1836

A supplement to an act, entitled, an act to preserve the

 

Fish, Oysters and Terrapins, in Wye River, passed

 

at December session, eighteen hundred and thirty-four,

 

chapter three hundred and eleven.

Act extended

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

 

That the provisions of the act, entitled, an act to pre-

 

serve the Fish, Oysters and Terrapins, in Wye River,

 

passed at December session, eighteen hundred and

 

thirty-four, chapter three hundred and eleven, be ex-

 

tended to the waters of Queen Anns and Kent coun-

 

ties.

 

CHAPTER 338.

Passed Mar.29,1836

An act to Incorporate the Eastern Shore Rail Road

 

Company.

Route prescribed

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

 

Maryland, That the commissioners who shall be ap-

 

pointed by the Governor and Council, under and by

 

virtue of a joint resolution, number fifteen, passed at

 

the present session of this General Assembly, be, and

 

they are hereby instructed and required to survey and

 

lay out the road mentioned in the said resolution, whol-

 

ly without* the limits of this State, commencing in their

 

location thereof, at some convenient point in Cecil

 

within, in the original.
