CHAPTER 330.

 
 

CHAP. 331

An act to authorise John Mactavish to act as trustee in

Passed April 2,1836

the case therein mentioned, and to hold land as tenant

 

by the courtesy.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Authority to act

Maryland, John Mactavish, an alien resident, be, and

 

he is hereby made capable at law, to exercise and ful-

 

fill in all particulars, the trust reposed in him as trus-

 

tee, under the last will and testament of Charles Car-

 

roll, of Carrollton, as fully to all intents and purpos-

 

es, as if he were a native citizen of the United States.

 

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the said John

Authority to act as

Mactavish, be, and he is in like manner, made capable

expcutot to his wife

at law, to act as the executor of his wife Emily Mac-

 

tavish, should he be appointed her executor by her last

 

will and testament, and to exercise and fulfill in all

 

particulars, such trusts as may be reposed in him, un-

 

der the last will and testament of said Emily.

 

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the said
