said county, and completing, perfecting and recording

 

all and every paper or instrument of writing left in-

 

complete and unrecorded by the late register of wills

 

for Saint Mary's county, deceased, are hereby confirm-

 

ed.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all and every pa-

and recorded, shall be of the same force, validity and

 

effect as if the same had been completed and regularly

 

and duly recorded by the said late register of wills,

 

and authenticated copies taken from the records of any

SEC. 3. And be if enacted, That the register of

wills for the said county, for all duties performed by

 

him in completing, perfecting and recording all such

 

papers or instruments of writing, shall be entitled to

 

the same fees as are now allowed for similar services,

 

to be paid by the parties properly chargeable therewith;

 

Provided however, if it shall appear that the fees in the

cases before mentioned or any of them, have been paid

 

to the late register, or to his executors or administra-

 

tors, then and in that case the present register shall be

 

entitled to recover said fees from the executors or ad-

 

ministrators of said late register, deceased, in the same

 

manner as fees are now collected by law.

 

CHAPTER 313.

 

An act to Incorporate the Chesapeake Bank.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
