appointed one of the justices of the peace in and for

said county; and whereas, the said Isaiah Taylor, at
|
 
|
the time of the last annual appointment, was again rc-
|
 
|
appointcd, but by a clerical error he was commissioned
|
 
|
under the name of Josiah, instead of Isaiah Taylor,
|
 
|
and the said Taylor having continued to act as a justice
|
 
|
of the peace for a considerable time before the error as
|
 
|
aforesaid was discovered, — Therefore:
|
 
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Man/land,
|
Acts confirmed
|
That all the acts and deeds done by Isaiah Taylor as
|
 
|
a justice of the peace for Harford county, from the time
|
 
|
of his last appointment until the passage of this act, be
|
 
|
and they are hereby confirmed and declared valid, and
|
 
|
of as full effect to all intents and purposes as if he had
|
 
|
been commissioned under his proper name.
|
 
|
CHAPTER 34.
|
 
|
An act to limit the sitting of the Commissioners of the
|
Passed Jan. 29,1836
|
Tax, in Montgomery county.
|
 
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
|
Times of meeting prescribed
|
That the Commissioners of the Tax for Montgomery
|
 
|
county shall sft for the purpose of hearing appeals and
|
 
|
noting transfers, on the first Monday, Tuesday and
|
 
|
Wednesday in April, the first Monday, Tuesday and
|
 
|
Wednesday in June, and four days to be by themselves
|
 
|
agrsed upon, in the month of September, in each and
|
 
|
every year; provided nevertheless, that if the commis-
|
 
|
sioners aforesaid shall be prevented by sickness, or any
|
 
|
other good reason, from forming a board on any of the
|
 
|
days before mentioned, it shall be lawful for said com-
|
 
|
missioners to adjourn to, or fix upon some other day or
|
 
|
days for the performance of their duties; provided also,
|
 
|
that they shall not sit more than ten days in any one
|
 
|
year.
