An act to incorporate the Leonard Town Academy, in

 

St. Mary's County.

 

WHEREAS, application has been made to this Gene-:

 

ral Assembly of Maryland, for the passage of a law to

 

incorporate the Leonard Town Academy, in St. Mary's

 

County: — Therefore,

Trustees appointed

SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

 

Maryland, That Joseph Harris, Gerard N. Causin,

 

Doct. Joseph Stone, Cornelius Combs, Doct. Charles

 

Ll. Gardiner, Doct. John Delany, Doct. Walter H.

 

Briscoe, Bennett Gough, William Smith, William

 

Coad, Morris Shanks, George Crane, Richard H.

 

Miles, Benjamin G. Harris, Thomas W. Morgan, Luke

 

E. Barber, William T. Maddox, John Walton, George

 

Combs, and H. G. S. Key. or so many of them as may

 

become subscribers to the amount pf one hundred dol-

 

lars each to the capital stock for the erection and sup-

 

port of the academy, be, and they are hereby appoint-
