SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the Trustees shall

School, for or on account of Prince George's County,

 

and that all such acts of Assembly as are inconsistent

 

with the provisions of this act, he, and the same are

 

hereby repealed.

 

CHAPTER 205.

Passed Mar. 24,1836

An act relating to Lotteries, in the State of Maryland,

 

WHEREAS, it is the wish of this Legislature, that

 

the Lottery System shall expire at as early a day as

 

practicable, — Therefore,

SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

 

Maryland, That the State Lottery Commissioners shall

 

take all the grants of Lotteries now existing the Com-

 

missioners of which shall have within six months after

 

the passage of this act, acquiesced in its provisions,

 

and draw the lotteries or dispose of the schemes, under

 

such grants, in the same manner as they draw or dis-

 

pose of the State schemes, until they raise the sums.

raised by such grants respectively, and that they pay
