SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That should the Levy

 

Court determine to lessen the number of assessors as

 

hereinbefore authorised, they shall select the said lesser

 

number from amongst those who were recommended

 

and partially appointed under the act to which this is

 

a supplement.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That it shall be the du-

 

ty of said Levy Court to conform to the provisions of

 

the act to which this is a supplement, except so far as

 

relates to those provisions wherein they are authoris-

 

ed by this supplement to exercise a discretion.

 

CHAPTER 182.

Passed Mar. 23,1866

An act for the relief of the Devisees of William Hill,

 

late of Prince George's County, deceased.

Whereas

WHEREAS, William Hill, by his last will and testa-

 

ment, after devising to Lis son William B. Hill, his

 

dwelling house with the improvements adjacent there-

 

to, and the lands adjoining thereto, which were then

 

held by the mother of the testator as a part of her dow-

 

er in said lands, directed that the said William B.

 

Hill's portion of the residue of the testator's real es-

 

tate, should be laid off to him adjoining to said lands,

 

and further directed that all his estate, real and per-

 

sonal, should he kept together for the support of his said

 

wife, the maintainance and education of his children,

 

and the payment of his debts; And. whereas, the s aid

 

testator, subject to the devises and directions in said

 

will contained, directed a division of all his real es-

 

tate, in equal shares among his children, the said

 

William B. Hill, Clement Hill, Richard S. Hill, Elea-

 

nor Ann Hill, John Hill and Peggy Hill; And where-

 

as, the said widow of the said testator has hitherto

 

kept the said estate together, and has from the pro-
