CHAP. 164

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That each of the commis-

sioners for every day's attendance in virtue of this act,
|

shall receive two dollars; provided, the number of days
|
 
|
shall not exceed five for any one commissioner, and the
|
 
|
Levy court of said county are hereby authorised and
|
 
|
required to levy the same on the assessable property of
|
 
|
said county, which sum shall be collected and paid to
|
 
|
each and every commissioner, as other co'unty charges
|
 
|
are levied, collected and paid.

Vote to be taken
on establishing
|
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That at the next election
|
schools, &c
|
of Delegates to the next General Assembly, after the
|
 
|
passage af this act, every voter when he offers to vote
|
 
|
shall be required by the judges of the several election
|
 
|
districts of Worcester county, to state whether he is
|
 
|
for or against the establishment of primary schools, in
|
 
|
Worcester county, and the said judges shall record the
|
 
|
number of votes for and against primary schools, and
|
 
|
make return thereof to the legislature during the first week of the ensuing session thereafter.

The act to be pub-lished
|
SEC. 5. And be it enacted. That the Levy court of
|
 
|
Worcester county, be and they are hereby authorised
|
 
|
and required to cause this act to be published in the
|
 
|
Worcester Sentinel, and to have the same advertised
|
 
|
in one or more of the most public places in the several
|
 
|
election districts in said county, at least three months
|
 
|
before the annual election of delegates to the General
|
 
|
Assembly, for the information of the people.

An act to provide for building a Court House in Mont-

Levy directed 10,000 dollars

SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of
|
 
|
Maryland, That the judges of the levy court, of Mont-
|
 
|
gomery county, be and they are hereby authorised and
|
 
|
required, whenever in their opinion the public interest
|
 
|
require it, to levy upon the assessable property of
|
 
|
said county, a sum of money not exceeding ten thou-
|
 
|
sand dollars, for the erection of a fire proof court
|
 
|
house, with all the offices necessary for the security of
|
