SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the corporate pro-

perty of said trustees and their successors, while used

 

as a school, shall he exempt from all assessment for

 

taxes under the laws of the State.

Liabilities for con. tracts

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That the said

 

trustees and their successors shall be liable only in their

 

corporate, and not their individual capacity, for all

 

contracts or debts incurred in their corporate capacity

 

as aforesaid.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the said trustees

 

shall keep a regular book in which they shall transcribe

 

their constitution, act of incorporation, and their by-

 

laws, and all the elections of trustees and teachers, and

 

such proceedings as may be had at their meetings re-
